The Great Sourdough Failure

Yep, after a great and fantastic start.....I have no more activity.  It just hasn't risen.   I don't know if it's the temperature, the fact that I took the top of the crock off and just used only saran wrap....no clue.  So, I shall start again tomorrow.   I have a couple of ideas for better progress and will implement those.  sigh.

      Thanks.  I was so happy after seeing it explode after the 2nd day!  Then...just nothing.  some bubbles here and there, but no rise.  I need to find somewhere in the house that has a consistent temp.  I think I'll place it next to an oil-filled space heater that I have.  That should keep it nice and toasty at about 70 degrees or so.
