Here it is.  Our last supply of CSA vegetables for the year.  Turnips, cabbage, and kale were excluded because they are under snow.  Oh well, kale would have been nice, as it freezes well.  Cabbage maybe. Turnips.....I could do without right now!

Speaking of cabbage, here is what my sauerkraut experiment looks like now:



The liquid extracted from the cabbage is now almost to the top.  The dry cabbage that I added, along with how cool we keep the house are factors in this not being completed by now.  It's sitting atop a (albeit dusty) radiator to get occasional warmth.

Leeks
Onions
