Week 16 Vegetables




Ok, let's see what we have here.

Onions
Turnips
Broccoli
Collards
Zucchini
Acorn Squash
a boatload of various peppers

These peppers are going to be dehydrated.  We just have too many of them to eat right now!

    Same here about the peppers...our tiny freezer is packed full of them too, all diced or sliced for some future purpose. Tonight I'm canning chow chow which is using up cabbage, cauliflower, green tomatoes, and of course, peppers!

    Our freezer is filled with things that I forget about!  I find if I dehydrate them and toss them in a baggie, it's easier for me.  They may not come out as good for texture, but I use them for sauces and such, so it's never really an issue.
