Fresh picked corn and a veggie stir fry

The hazard of belonging to a CSA and growing your own vegetables is that there is just too darn much.   But it's Labor Day and we have corn growing so there's really no argument there.
When I first got our bag, it screamed stir-fry.  Peppers, Bok Choy, broccoli, and onions.  Yum.  Off to make a stir fry sauce.  I didn't measure, so I'll approximate.

3 tbs soy sauce
1/2 cup veggie broth/stock  (no chicken stock on hand)
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tbs sesame sauce
some hot pepper flakes
1 tbs corn starch
salt & pepper

Heat this and let it boil for about a minute.  Then cool.

The stir fry is simply the ingredients mentioned above, wokked (is that a word?) in peanut oil and the stir fry sauce, served over rice.  Not the traditional Labor Day meal, but we got the corn, in so it counts.  Maybe a hot dog or cheeseburger stiry fry next year.

Side notes, I added a splash of lemon juice to the stiry fry and went to steam the veggies and added water.  Well, I wanted vegetable stock, so I added that too.  Oops.  Time for more cornstarch....disolve in water and add.  Thickens the sauce.
