Veggie (mostly) pasta

Again, Friday night and trying to use up what we have left.  We made the Beets again, with the caraway seeds with turned out great.  However we still had other stuff to use in this recipe which consisted of:

1 Zucchini
1 Yellow squash
1 Hungarian Banana Hot Pepper
1 Medium sized onion
4 Tomato Berries, sliced in half
Some diced Abruzzese dried salami
a bit of lemon juice
olive oil
salt and pepper
oh, and some dried red pepper flakes

The oil was flavored with garlic, which I let cook to long, so I had to discard it.  Usually I slice it up, fry it in the oil, and make little toasted garlic chips.  Not for those that don't like garlic, because it gets very strong!  They were a bit too browned so I tossed them, but determined that the oil they were in was still ok.  Burnt garlic is not your friend.  Overall, really good, filling, and a way to eat our vegetables.
